Winter Series Race 1: Oct 24 & 25 - Bikes & Quads

 

This season we will be offering both MX Bike and MX Quad races as part of the Winter Series.  MX Bike races will run on Saturday, with a split schedule of Youth in the morning and Big Bikes in the afternoon.  Quads will run on Sunday as a full class schedule. IMPORTANT INFO FOR PARENTS OF MINORS:
A Parent or legal guardian must be present at time of minor sign-up. If the parent or guardian will NOT be present, the minor must have a NOTARIZED release form signed by their parent or legal guardian with them the day of the event. New This Season for MX Bike Races:
  • This season the Youth Registration will be limited to Youth riders or Adults that are with the Youth rider and are also racing their own classes.
  • This season we are only allowing Youth bikes in the Pits during Youth Race events.  If you are riding in the Amateur Class, please wait until the designated time to bring your bike into the Pits.

TROPHIES

  • Trophies for top 33% will be provided for 50cc race classes only
  • Participation awards will be provided for non-qualifying 50cc race class riders only
  • Trophies or Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd (fixed) will be provided for all non-50cc and non-payout race classes
  • 100% Payout will be awarded to the Top 33% of the Payout Classes


RACE DAY PRICING

$35     All Race Classes - Race 2 Classes get the 3rd Class FREE!
$10     Transponder Rental (Required for all races - per day fee)

$15     Each Additional Pit Pass
$10     Just for Fun Classes (price is per person)

  • Each racer receives 1 Free Mechanic Pit Pass per day
  • Mechanic must be present at time of registration to qualify for free pit pass
  • Transponder rentals are required and are per day - must be checked out and returned at end of event – fees will apply if not returned
  • All mechanics and racers must purchase admission and must sign all waivers
Spectator Admission

RACE RULES

  • AMA Rules will be enforced for all races – For a list of AMA rules, click here. Please note this is not an AMA sanctioned series or race event.
  • An AMA Membership or Amsoil Sandbox Arena Membership is not required to participate.
  • A Referee and Race Coordinator will be at each race event and must be treated with respect at all time.
  • Disputes and challenges will be settled by the Referees and Race Coordinator and will be open for protest for 30 minutes after the race results are posted. After 30 minutes, all results are final. 
  • All posted rules must be followed in order to participate in races or race series.
  • All Waivers and Release forms must be signed prior to participating in the race event or entering the Pits. 
  • IMPORTANT: Minors participating must have a Minor Release Form signed by their parent or legal guardian at time of sign-up OR must have a NOTARIZED release form with them the day of the event – NO EXCEPTIONS. Forms can be notarized prior to day of event. Download the form and print in color.
  • Transponders will be required for race series scoring and will be available to rent at the facility.
  • Transponder times, data and race results will be posted online at MyLaps.com and/or SandboxArena.com after the event.
  • Wristbands are required at all times for Race Entry, Pits Entry and Admission.  Loss of wristband will result in repurchase.
  • NEW THIS SEASON: Participants must purchase a wristband at the front desk before they will be allowed to enter the Pits with their equipment.
  • Rider will receive 1 Free Mechanic’s Pit Pass per day with their first race entry admission.  Mechanic must be present at time of payment to qualify.  Additional Pit Passes may be purchased at any time.
  • Only the rider and 1 Mechanic will be allowed on the track during the race event.  The Mechanic will not be allowed outside of the Mechanic’s area after the gate drops.  Any Mechanic or guest of a rider that steps onto the track from the Pits will result in rider disqualification – NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • For safety purposes, any guest that jumps the spectator fence will result in rider disqualification from the race – NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • No Outside food or drink allowed in the building.  A water jug for the racer only the day of the event will be allowed in the pits area.
  • No Alcohol consumption allowed by any riders during the race event. Wristbands will be cut at time of serving for anyone of legal age wishing to drink.
  • Unsportsmanlike conduct of any kind from the rider or rider guests will result in disqualification of the rider; in some circumstances you will be asked to leave the facility.
  • Track officials and staff are the only persons allowed on the track.  Violation of this rule will result in disqualification of you/ your rider.
  • Track referees will be announced at each riders meeting.  If there is a protest or discrepancy the appointed referees are your point of contact.
  • Disrespectful treatment of any Amsoil Sandbox Employees or guests will result in disqualification of you/ your rider and you will be asked to leave the facility.
  • Ages for all classes will be determined as of Oct. 15.
  • All Riders and Spectators will also be required to follow the Track Rules and Safety Requirements
  • Paying admission and participating in the race event deems acceptance of the above rules by riders, rider guests and spectators.
  • The Amsoil Sandbox Arena reserves the right to change race classes the day of the event.
