It's Been Too Long
Wednesday, April 30, 2008
Wow! I can’t believe it’s been two weeks since my last Donnie’s Dirt! What….wait….um, of course I will agree to a polygraph test! Okay, so this article has proven to be my arch nemesis, always seemingly destined for the back burner. I promise and solemnly swear to try and crank out new “Dirt” every couple of weeks, no later than a month!
So, here is a recap of what has been shaken, or is about to be shook in March, April, and May! In March we wrapped up our Bob’s Winter Classic, it was fun, there was great racing, and Rob and I learned a pile about running an indoor track! March and April also marked a very interesting event at the “Box”, a fricken car race, that’s right I said cars! The car track actually turned out pretty cool, some of the racing was fun to watch, and the fans were, well…….interesting, but truly what I remember most, was missing our motocrossers! Welcome back!!!
This summer we have three very cool race series, all offer incredible prizes (including 5 motocross bikes) and all are about to start! The first, being our Rock River series, takes place on four big weekends starting Friday May 9th with the Extreme Pit Bike race! Our second and third series are a 9 race Tuesday night Quad racing series, and a 9 race Wednesday night Motocross series, both will be super rad!!! Check the website for all the details.
All and all, Rob and I want to say thank you so much for coming this winter, and be sure to check out the TOTALLY new outdoor style track, it’s awesome, until next time (few weeks from now, I promise) keep the rubber side down!!!
